ROSELLE, NJ - The Borough of Roselle Health Department has released a report of the Borough's positive COVID-19 cases from March 21 through July 22, 2020.
The report shows April as having the largest amount of cases with 463 positive cases, increasing from March with 68 cases.
"We saw a significant drop in May with 63 positive cases moving down to 10%," said Health Officer Charles Glagola. "This number has continued to drop each month due to our residents practicing social distancing and the wearing of face masks.”
Roselle's numbers continue to decline to 3% for July with 25 cases to date, and the current total of positive cases since this pandemic began stands at 659. The number of deaths related to the virus remains at 20.
Glagola added, "We ask our residents to continue to be diligent with the wearing of face masks and social distancing because, as you can see, it's working!”
