ROSELLE, NJ - The school year has begun for students in the Roselle Public Schools and to help the students and families who were having technical difficulties on the first day of classes, the district’s Supervisor of Instructional Technology, Evenide Fanfan-Vilcean, took to Facebook to provide technical support.

The three platforms being used by the district this year are Genesis, Gmail and Schoology. Supervisor Vilcean clarified that in order for a student to access Schoology they must use the email and password provided to them by the district. Schoology is where assignments, classroom discussions and grading will take place.  The login information was mailed to every household in the district with the information for each individual student.

As for Genesis, the district is asking that parents who need help connecting contact their child’s school first to get the issue sorted out.

Each platform has a different contact email for virtual support. For Genesis the email is eds@roselleschools.org. Gmail help is helpdesk@roselleschools.org and for Schoology the contact email is schoologyadmin@roselleschools.org.
