ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Who loves baked holiday goodies? If you have ever dreamed of tasting a lot of great treats and helping to pick a winner, just like the judges do on tv, then here is your chance to taste and vote!
The new Friends of the Roselle Park Veterans Memorial Library board members Joe DeIorio, Kyra Mooney and Amanda Brennan invite the public to their Inaugural Event - The 2019 Holiday Baking Challenge on Friday, December 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The mission of the Friends of the Roselle Park Veterans Memorial Library is to raise funds and public awareness in the community to support the services and programs of the library.
As a special treat, the Roselle Park Girl Scouts will be performing a caroling program to put attendees in the festive mood. While there, learn about the exciting renovations to the library.
The "Friends" wish to continue the successes of its predecessor in many ways, especially in the area of raising funds. Their first fundraising effort will be to offer free passes to museums in the New Jersey and the New York City Metropolitan Area to expand Roselle Park resident's access to the arts, history, and culture.
Admission is $5 and allows ticket holders to taste and vote for their contestant of choice. Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the Roselle Park H.S. Panther Food Pantry.
Participation in the challenge is free, but you must pre-register at https://form.jotform.com/93261273183153.
Tickets purchases and donations can be made online at https://tinyurl.com/2019BakingChallenge.
