ROSELLE, NJ - The Roselle Section of the National Council of Nergro Women is asking the community to come out this Tuesday, August 13, for “Confronting Substance Abuse in Roselle” a community discussion on drug use.
The program is in an educational seminar is presented and supported by Prevention Links and the Roselle Everett Hatcher Prevention Coalition.
“It is very important to have these programs here in our own community of Roselle,” said Helen Quesada, Coalition Director for Roselle Everett Hatcher. “Everyone knows someone, somewhere, who is either dealing with substance abuse or knows of someone going through it. It touches all of our lives and that is why we have to discuss, discuss, and keep discussing the issue. We need to reach as many people as possible and make sure that they are learning, and no-one is forgetting that the problem exists!”
The program is being held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at that Anthony Amalfe Community Center located at 1268 Shaffer Ave. in Roselle.
