ROSELLE, NJ — Free Health Protection Kits will be distributed at Columbia Bank on Chestnut Street Saturday morning beginning at 10 a.m.

The event, called Mask Up Roselle, is a collaboration between Mayor Reginald Atkins, Borough Council, Freeholder Andrea Staten and Columbia Bank. The kits will include a free mask and hand sanitizer.

The goal of Mask Up Roselle is to spread awareness and encourage proper safety practices to help stop the spread of the virus. At the first Mask Up Roselle Event on Thursday at Borough Hall more than 2500 kits were given away to Roselle residents.

The Borough plans to continue to schedule these events for the rest of the month, one in each ward of Roselle.
