ROSELLE PARK, NJ - In an effort to give back to the community, this past Saturday,  PBA Local 27 member Officer William Hannon volunteered his time to teach Roselle Park residents CPR at the Community Methodist church in Roselle Park.

Officer Hannon who is also a member of the PBA’s executive board, recently received his certification as an instructor and wanted to give back to the community he serves.

“One of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done as a Police Officer has been saving a life through the use of CPR,” said Hannon. “By spending a couple of hours with these residents, they too can have the ability and knowledge to possibly save a family member, friend or neighbor’s life in the event of a medical emergency. It’s a great opportunity to help out the residents in the community that we serve.”
