ROSELLE, NJ - Due to ongoing issues with the phone lines at the Department of Public Works, DPW Superintendent Luis Mollinedo issued a statement asking residents to direct their calls to the local Code Enforcement Office by calling 908-259-3023 while they work to fix this issue. 

Mollinedo also noted that fall is in full swing and leaf pick-up begins by ward, starting on Nov. 4 

Only clean leaves will be picked up. The leaf pick-up schedule is as follows:

  • Monday - 5th Ward
  • Tuesday - 4th Ward
  • Wednesday - 3rd Ward
  • Thursday - 2nd Ward
  • Friday - 1st Ward

There is a 10 bag pick-up limit and 50-pound weight limit per bag/per pick-up. Biodegradable paper bag usage is suggested. In the event that a resident runs out of bags, leaves will only be picked up in a 35-gallon sturdy container or smaller.

Biodegradable paper bags are available for purchase at home improvement stores such as Lowe’s and Home Depot.

Leaves will be picked up through Feb. 28, 2020.
