ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Three Newark males, two were juveniles, and an Elizabeth male was arrested after police found 10 parked vehicles burglarized and stolen auto while on patrol.

According to Roselle Park Police, on August 19, at approximately 1:52 a.m., while on patrol Officer Jessica Diaz observed two males seated in the front seat of a 2018 Honda that was parked curbside on the 300 block of Seaton Ave. As Officer Diaz approached to investigate, the two males ran into the rear yards on Seaton Ave. 

Police said, during the investigation, it was discovered that approximately 10 unlocked parked vehicles were burglarized. Officer Diaz located one of the males who was identified as Raion T. Gales, age 20 from Newark hiding in the rear yard of 336 Seaton Ave, where he was placed under arrest. Sgt. John Deegan located a second individual identified as a 17-year-old juvenile male from Newark in the rear yard of 330 Seaton Ave, where he was placed under arrest.

Police said further investigation led to locating a 2017 Nissan that was parked on Seaton Ave. and Laurel Ave. that had been reported stolen out of South Orange two days prior. Cpl Brian Swick discovered hiding inside the stolen vehicle, two additional males identified as Jameel F. Lee, age 19 from Elizabeth and a 17-year-old male from Newark. 

Authorities said they were placed under arrest and charged with the following:

Raion T. Gales was charged with 2 counts of (3 rd degree) Burglary to a motor vehicle, 2 counts of Theft, and (3 rd degree) Receiving Stolen Property (Stolen MV)

Jameel F. Lee was charged with (3 rd degree) Receiving Stolen Property (Stolen MV)

The two juveniles were charged with 3 counts of (3 rd degree) Receiving Stolen Property (Stolen MV, Stolen Laptop Computer, and Stolen EZ Pass) and 2 counts of Possession of Stolen Credit Cards.

All individuals were issued complaints and were released with a Union County Superior Court date of 9/4/2019.
