NEWARK, NJ - Roselle’s First Black Female Firefighter and Borough Council President have been chosen to be honored by Congressman Donald M. Payne during the Black History Month Celebration in Newark.

The event which will honor several outstanding individuals will be hosted on Friday, February 21, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Lt. Governor Sheila Y. Oliver Conference Room in the Leroy  Smith Public Safety Building in Newark. 

Roselle’s first black female Fire Fighter Rayna Latimer and Borough Council President Denise Wilkerson are among those chosen to be honored.
