ROSELLE PARK, NJ - Some children with special needs received some holiday cheer on Wednesday morning by some very special police officers.
It was smiles all around when the officers from the Roselle Park Police Department P.B.A. showed up at Pediatria Health Care for kids on Westfield Avenue in Roselle Park with lots of toys.
The facility specializes in children with special needs and serious medical conditions. Officers purchased toys for all of the children and brought them to the facility. The officers also stayed a while with the kids and sang Christmas carols. Below is a short video of the officers singing with the children.
“I am extremely proud of our officers. Each year our PBA conducts a toy drive for these wonderful children, and each year our officers rise to the occasion,” said Chief Daniel J. McCaffery. “We have a great group of officers with really big hearts.”
