ROSELLE, NJ - Abraham Clark High School will have their first football game of the season this Saturday at Keansburg High School.
The Rams finished the 2019 season with an overall record of four wins and seven losses, ranking 273 in the state. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year will be a lot different from what players and family are used to.
This season will also be shorter than in prior years, with just nine games on the schedule for this fall.
Keansburg won their first game of the season against Point Pleasant, 40-21. Abraham Clark's first game was originally scheduled against Hackettstown this past weekend, but the match was canceled.
In order to keep the players, coaches and their families safe, the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) introduced new regulations for the fall 2020 season. Rules are designed to minimize the amount of physical contact between both teams.
