ROSELLE, NJ - Abraham Clark High School seniors Adham Khalil, Quron Conway, Marvens Lormejuste and Craig McRae officially signed their binding national letters of intent to play football with their schools in the fall. All four played varsity with the Rams and have accepted scholarships to play at their respective four-year schools.

Adham will attend Lake Erie College in Ohio, Quron will attend Cisco College in Texas, and both Marvens and Craig will attend New Mexico Highlands in New Mexico.

"The future looks so bright for you and I've had the privilege of seeing you all mature over the years, not just as athletes but as students here at Abraham Clark High School," said Principal Rashon Mickens.

"You've achieved excellence and that deserves our applause," he added.

Rams Football Coach James Williams praised the four players for developing as players as well as finding a level of independence that he said will assist them as they head off to college.

"I'm going to miss you guys. You've been so dedicated and while we've been a tight unit here in Roselle, your maturity will allow you to develop new relationships with your new teams at your new schools," Wiliams said.

Superintendent Richard Corbett congratulated the seniors, reminding them that they will serve as ambassadors in their respective endeavors.

"Remember, wherever you go, you are representing Roselle. We know you will make us proud," Corbett said.

Assemblyman Jamel Holley, whose district includes Roselle, echoed Corbett's sentiments. "Never forget where you come from and wherever you go remember the Roselle community and the Roselle educational system that provided you with this opportunity," he said.

"I know you will continue to strive, continue to succeed, and continue to represent this Roselle community no matter where you go," Holley added.

Keyanna Jones, speaking on behalf of Mayor Christine Dansereau, said the departing players would leave a lasting impact on the remaining players. "They will learn from your example and leadership," Jones said.

Highlights of the signing can be viewed below.

The players will be honored by the Roselle Borough Council on Thursday, Feb. 22, at 7 p.m. at Roselle Borough Hall, 210 Chestnut St.
