CHESTER, NJ – Following its elimination from the Morris County Tournament on Saturday, the Roxbury High School boys basketball team rebounded tonight with a solid win over West Morris Central, the team it beat in the first round of the county tournament on Jan. 30.

The Gaels, who outscored West Morris 61-41 in that game, won by a similar margin tonight with a 51-30 victory.

Roxbury fell behind during the first period, entering the second with the score 10-7 in favor of West Morris. After that, the Gaels left the Wolfpack in the dust, outscoring them in all three remaining periods.

Roxbury fell to Morris Catholic High School in county tournament play Saturday, suffering a 64-42 defeat.

The Gaels, now 7-11, next take on Parsippany Hills on Thursday.
