The Morris County Historical Society at Acorn Hall (MCHS) is pleased to announce that Deborah Kelly, Esq., has joined the Society's Board of Trustees for a four-year term.
Ms. Kelly brings an extensive legal expertise, as well as crisis management communications experience, to the Board.
Ms. Kelly earned her B.A. degree from American University, and her J.D. degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. After completing a judicial clerkship with The Honorable Thomas W. Cavanagh, New Jersey Superior Court (Monmouth County), Ms. Kelly joined Coughlin Duffy LLP in Morristown.
Ms. Kelly is a participant in the Morris County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Morris program. With a life-long interest in European and American history, Ms. Kelly hopes that her collaboration with the MCHS will introduce more young people to the rich history of Morris County, and help them to recognize the importance of appreciating history.
The Morris County Historical Society was founded in 1945. The Society's mission is dedicated to the discovery, preservation, promotion, and interpretation of Morris County history through events, programs, exhibits, and preservation advocacy.
