ROXBURY, NJ - Knight's Automotive Repair, a TAPinto Roxbury sponsor, has earned the coveted 2016 Angie’s List Super Service Award reflecting an exemplary year of customer service.

Winning this award for 2016 is particularly significant as Angie’s List (the premier consumer review service) experienced unprecedented member growth.

“Companies that can meet higher demands without missing a beat in their exemplary performance standards truly do stand apart from their peers,” said Angie’s List Founder Angie Hicks. “Only a fraction of the auto repair companies in the New York - New Jersey area were able to do it.”

In order to earn the Super Service Award, Knight's had to consistently receive an A rating in overall grade from reviewers, be in good standing with the Better Business Bureau, meet the minimum number of review criteria, pass a background check and adhere to Angie’s List operational guidelines.

Graded on a scale from A through F, companies are judged in areas ranging from price and professionalism to punctuality.

“Since 1984 our family has continuously worked to provide honest, quality auto repair and maintenance with friendly customer service," said Knight's owner Peyton Knight upon learning of the award. "It is an honor to be acknowledged for this achievement by such a trusted company as Angie’s List.”

Knight's Automotive has continually earned an A rating with Angie’s List since it began its membership six years ago. Many of the company's current customers began their search for quality auto repair by initially looking at Angie’s List for helpful reviews. Angie’s List was the catalyst that gave those consumers the confidence to give Knight’s a try.

Some current Angie's List reviews include comments reflecting customer satisfaction. “They were great;” said one. “I will use them again, they were excellent,” said another. “I paid the dealership $550 to get a small part of the job done wrong, and a total of about $500 to Knight's to get the whole job done right,” was one more good review.

Knight's Automotive Repair is at 171 East Main Street, in Ledgewood.

Knight's is a family owned and operated auto repair service in business for 33 years. Known for exemplary repair and customer service, Knights is trusted for all automotive service needs.

The company is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. Call 973-927-0114 to schedule an appointment or to discuss any auto or truck concerns.

More Snow! Let Your Kid Drive in It!

ROXBURY, NJ - We are again about to be walloped by a snowstorm. These words, first written at the beginning of winter, need to be reiterated:

Many parents with a new driver at home will see the storm approaching and instinctively decide to not allow their kids to get behind the wheel until the snow's been cleared.

They might want to rethink that.

When it snows, ...

Roxbury Diner: Homespun Hospitality Through Thick and Thin

ROXBURY, NJ – Roxbury was being buried in snow March 14 and most businesses were closed. Not Roxbury Diner.

Roxbury Diner isn’t like most businesses. For co-owner Jimmy Dontas, a snowstorm – even a blizzard – isn’t a reason to suspend operations. Instead, it’s a call to action.

It Began With Filling Your Tank; Now They Fix Your Grandson’s Car

When we drive east on Route 10 through Roxbury, many of us might remember a Shell station at the Randolph border next to the golf range. It was in that station that Nancy and Peyton Knight began their long history of auto repair in the township.

That was 1983 and soon the Knights’ business grew and expanded. The humble gas station gradually morphed into a state-of-the-art ...

ROXBURY, NJ – It’s a pleasant Sunday morning, you’re playing volleyball in the back yard with the kids and – forgetting you’re not 17 anymore – you jump up to smack that ball.
