Kristy Jo Waldron, 39

Kristy Jo Waldron, 39, died on November 8, 2015 at the Morristown Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born in Dover and lived in Roxbury Township most all of her life. She was a graduate of Roxbury High School and of the New England Culinary Institute in Vermont.  She became a chef, which was her passion in life, working at the Washington Inn, a 5 Star Restaurant, in Cape May, where she gained a life long extended family. She was a member of the Succasunna United Methodist Church, volunteered at and cooked for the Dover Faith Kitchen, Christian Outreach Project, taught Sunday School to High School Students and mentored the Confirmation classes. She also cooked for church functions and Thanksgiving dinners for those in need, an active member of Big Brothers & Sisters of Morris County, was an avid DOPEY and Mets fan, and loved swimming and putting her feet in the sand at the Wildwood shore. Kristy was a true inspiration to everyone she touched. She will be remembered for her love and compassion, friendship, kind spirit, her warm smile, positive outlook and her ability to always put others first.

She was predeceased by her father Harry Waldron in 2012 and is survived by her mother Judy Waldron of Succasunna, sisters; Valerie Baylor of Succasunna, Wendy (and Ray) Oakes of Landing, brother John (and Stacey) Waldron of Kenvil, and by her nieces and nephews; David and Jessica Baylor, and Sarah, Robbie, and Jenna Waldron.

The Funeral Service will then be held on Friday, 10 am at the Succasunna United Methodist Church, with the interment to follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Chester. Donations may be made in her name to the Succasunna United Methodist Church Outreach Program or to the Big Brothers and Sisters of Morris County.
