ROXBURY, N.J. - The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey (OINJ), a TAPinto Roxbury sponsor with a facility in Succasunna, has partnered with Ivy Rehab Network, a "top-notch, specialized physical therapy leader," according to the company.

Ivy Rehab Network has locations in five states and a reputation of excellence, said several OINJ representatives, including Dr. Robert DeFalco. “We are pleased to be joining forces with a practice of such high caliber,” said DeFalco said, an OINJ orthopedic surgeon and practice partner. “We were drawn to them by their focus on excellence in patient care — one of our core values as well.”

Avatar Solutions, a nationally recognized company that performs patient surveys, lists Ivy Rehab Network as a Best Outpatient Provider in the U.S. and awarded it the 5 Star Service Excellence Award three years running, said OINJ.

Ivy Rehab Network's practice encompasses all aspects of physical therapy, including its application in sports medicine and sports injuries; post-surgical rehabilitation; overuse injuries and inflammation from chronic conditions like arthritis.

OINJ, which also has physical therapy locations in Hackettstown and Chester, began introducing its patients to the new organization on Oct. 3. All of OINJ's physical therapy centers will be owned and managed by Ivy Rehab.

"The experience, operational backing, and expertise of a regionally known, top-notch, specialized physical therapy leader will benefit our patients,” said OINJ Administrator and Chief Operating Officer Carlos Curras.

Ivy Rehab CEO Michael Neuscheler said the partnership will be great for patients of both companies. “OINJ has a great reputation in all areas of orthopedics,” he said. “This partnership will give our patients the best of opportunities. Together, we look forward to bringing them back to good health.”
