RANDOLPH, NJ - The County College of Morris (CCM) will be closed from Aug. 1, through Aug. 9 to allow for the replacement of 47-year-old electrical equipment, it was announced today.

The electrical switchgear being replaced is the original equipment installed when the college opened in 1968. The devices are associated with power system protection.

Officials said the upgrades “will result in improved reliability of the college’s electrical service and reduce equipment maintenance costs.”

Although CCM’s main campus in Randolph and its Morristown location will be closed, the college’s website will not be affected. However, WebAdvisor, the tool that enables online access to class schedules and related information, will be unavailable starting 5 p.m. July 31, due to a system upgrade. The college expects WebAdvisor to return online Aug.6, but this will be announced via a message on the CCM website.
