MORRIS PLAINS, NJ - After being on top going into the second quarter Thursday, the Roxbury girls basketball team slipped behind its Parsippany-Hills opponent in an away game that ended with the lopsided score of 43-23.

Going into the second quarter with an 8-6 lead, the Gaels got hammered in the second period, where Parsippany-Hills scored 12 to their 6. The third frame saw more, as Roxbury managed five points to Parsippany-Hills' nine, but the final quarter was rough, with the Gaels managing only 4 to the other side's 16.

The girls play Morris Knolls 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14 in another away game.
