ROXBURY, NJ - The Roxbury High School baseball team advanced in the state tournament on Friday, beating Ramapo 7-6 with some late-game drama.

Landon Monro stroked a 2-out, walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning to drive in Ryan DiTrolio who had earned a walk.

Roxbury had tied the score earlier in the inning on a double by Justin Bosland and a sacrifice fly by CJ Danna.

Will Findlay, Brian Dachowski, Anthony Tye and Jared Schimenti each contributed two hits to the winning cause, including a first inning leadoff home run for Schimenti.

Jack Findlay pitched into the fifth inning. TJ Shuman got the victory following 2 1/3 strong innings in relief.

Roxbury, now 14-10, moves on to face Pascack Valley in the semifinals.
