ROXBURY, NJ - People irritated by pre-Thanksgiving displays of Christmas stuff in retailers might appreciate the fact that some Roxbury boy scouts are waiting until we're eating leftover turkey before they begom selling wreaths.

Thanksgiving is Nov.26. Boy Scout Troop 163 begins is annual Christmas Wreath Sale on Nov. 28.

You can show appreciation for their resistance to jumping the gun by stopping at their trailer in the parking lot of Roxbury Fire Station No. 1 on Main Street in Succasunna. The scouts will be there through Dec. 13 on Fridays 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., on Saturdays 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sundays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m..

The wreaths will cost $25 a piece.
