ROXBURY, NJ - The Roxbury High School boys lacrosse team soundly defeated its North Warren counterparts today in a game that game started off slowly for the Gaels but ended up being a 17-4 blowout.

Roxbury scored only two goals against the cat like reflexes of the Patriots goalie in the first quarter, which ended with the Gaels leading, 2-0.

But Roxbury awakened in the second, hammering North Warren with shot after shot to score six goals. The Gaels defense, headed by sophomore goalie Brandon Maresca, allowed North Warren only one goal in the first half.
