ROXBURY, N.J. - The Roxbury High School field hockey team today beat Mount Olive 2-1 in a home field matchup.

The victory improved the Gaels' season record to 3-2. Ball control proved the key to Roxbury's success.

The Gaels won on goals by Emily Giordano and Emma Karnitsky, who scored the tie-breaker, winning goal in the second half. Goaltender Kaitlyn O'Shea made two saves.

Roxbury takes on Morris Knolls on Monday in another home contest.
