ROXBURY,  NJ - The Roxbury High School football team suffered another tough loss Friday evening at the hands of its rivals from Randolph, losing to the Rams 36-14.

Playing at home on Cancer Awareness Night, the Gaels were able to move the ball with Tyler Doerr (46) as the main rusher. But the ground attack was held in check by a stout Rams defense.

The Gaels were able to find the end zone twice, once in the first half on a pass from Nick Mastandrea (4) to Kyle Haegele (82) who had a nice run to finish, 30-plus yards later, in the endzone.

The second touchdown was a short pass from Mastandrea to Haegele  in the second half.  Jimmy Pepe (25) of Randolph ran wild to keep the Gaels from being able to mount any sort of comeback.

The loss brings the Gaels' record to 2-4. They next take on Morris Knolls, a team they beat 34-24 when they last met a year ago.
