ROXBURY, NJ – Emily Koepfler scored five goals and one assist Saturday as the Roxbury High School girls lacrosse team beat Madison at home to advance to the Morris County Tournament quarterfinals.

In the 9-7 victory, Roxbury’s Emma Karnitsky made three goals and Hanna Bhend had one.

Roxbury goaltender Natalie Shulkowski made eight saves.

The Gaels went into the second half with a 6-3 lead. The Dodgers came back to outscore Roxbury in the second half, finding the goal four times while Roxbury added three.

Roxbury next plays North Warren at home on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
