RANDOLPH, NJ – The Roxbury High School girls lacrosse team is now 1-1, having lost to Randolph on Monday.
The Gaels scored five times, with four of the points coming in the first half when Randolph made three. But Randolph turned up the heat in the second frame, landing four goals to Roxbury’s one.
The final score: Randolph 7 and Roxbury 5.
During the game Roxbury’s Emma Karnitsky made two goals, Emily Koepfler made two and Hannah Bhend scored one.
The team next plays Wednesday at home against Morris Hills.
