JEFFERSON TWP., NJ – Emily Koepfler made nine goals and two assists Saturday as the Roxbury High School girls lacrosse team bulldozed Jefferson for a 15-5 win.

The Gaels scored seven goals to Jefferson’s two in the first half and eight to Jefferson’s three in the second.

Roxbury goaltender Natalie Shulkowski made seven saves.

Helping Koepfler in the scoring deluge were Emma Karnitsky, who made three goals, and – with one goal each – Hanna Bhend, Mia Sadowski and Kendall Torpin.

Roxbury next plays at Sparta on Tuesday. The team is now 3-1.
