RANDOLPH, NJ - The Roxbury girls soccer team on Thursday beat rival Randolph in a close game.

The Gaels defeated the Lady Rams 2-1 with both goals being scored by Ashleigh Serafin. Assists were made by Lauren Ernst and Karly Forker.

Roxbury goaltender Sarah Olivero made five saves.

The victory brings the Gaels' record to 5-1. The team next plays Sunday against Parsippany Hills in the Morris County Tournament. The game is home at 11 a.m.
