ROXBURY, NJ - Roxbury High School’s head nurse, Julie Richman, was recently named School Nursing Administrator of the Year by the New Jersey State School Nurses Association’s (NJSSNA). 

This award recognizes the contribution of New Jersey school nurse administrators by honoring a school nurse who demonstrates excellence in school nursing practice and leadership in school health.

The award is based on nominations presented to the association from co-workers and fellow school nurses or school nurse administrators. The NJSSNA honors award recipients by sending their name and photo to the National Association of School Nurses for recognition at its annual conference.

Richman was hired by Roxbury in May 2007. She also serves as second vice-president of the Morris County School Nurses Association.
