WAYNE, NJ - The undefeated Roxbury High School ice hockey team on Wednesday beat its undefeated counterparts from River Dell and brought its record to 6-0.

Playing in the Varsity Holiday Classic, the Gaels beat the Hawks 3-2 with a third-period push, giving River Dell it's first loss.

The Gaels' first-period goal came off a shot by Dylan DeGraw with an assist by Ethan Barooah. Roxbury came up empty-handed in the middle period, but DeGraw struck again at 8:56 in the next period, assisted by Billy Hefferle. The game-winner was made by Nick Zaragoza, assisted by Billy Hefferle, at 6:32.

The Gaels will try to keep their hot streak going Thursday when they take on Madison at Mennen Arena.
