ROXBURY, NJ – About 100 toys for ill children, collected at a recent “movie night” sponsored by the Roxbury High School Interact Club, were delivered Wednesday to a children’s hospital.

Several board members of the Interact Club, an arm of the Roxbury Rotary Club, joined Rotary President Steve Alford in taking the toys to the Children’s Specialized Hospital in New Brunswick, said Alford.

The toys were donated Dec. 2 by people attended the Interact Club’s showing of the film “Polar Express” at the Roxbury High School Auditorium.

The event was also a fundraiser for the family of a Roxbury toddler who recently underwent brain surgery.
