Roxbury Middle School Band Takes First in Music Showcase Festival

ROXBURY, NJ - The Eisenhower Middle School Eighth Grade Concert Band recently took first place in a Music Showcase Festival and was awarded Outstanding Section Awards for the trumpet and French Horn sections.

The students competed in Class A Concert Band and were rated against four other ensembles in the same group classification. The band was adjudicated in areas such as intonation, ensemble technique, and interpretation.

After the performance at Bethlehem Catholic High School, the students spent the afternoon celebrating their accomplishments at Dorney Park.
