ROXBURY, NJ – Sadly, while everybody else is inside the Roxbury Performing Arts Center enjoying the live performance of “Frosty,” you’re out in the car doing research on your smartphone. You can’t let go of the nagging question: Is he, or it, a “snow man” or a “snowman?”
Instead, you could be in the Succasunna venue doing what JAM Theater Company, the play’s producer, suggests. You could be enjoying “the magic of this American Classic live on stage” and you could just be happy to call the coal-eyed, button-nosed, sun-fearing main character “Frosty.”
The performances cost less than most hats, even old silk ones. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children and seniors. Tickets are available at the door or online from the Roxbury Arts Alliance.
“Frosty” is being staged six times at the Eyland Avenue venue: 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Nov. 22, 2 p.m. on Nov. 23, 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Dec. 6 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 7.
