ROXBURY, NJ - The historic First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna on Main Street is busy preparing for its annual tea fundraiser.
The event harkens back to the church’s Victorian era roots, when having afternoon tea was a daily occurrence. The church graciously invites you to treat yourself and your friends to an afternoon of delicious food, hot tea and live musical entertainment right here in Roxbury.
This elegant tea is being held Saturday, Oct. 19 from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Enjoy classic and herbal teas, assorted finger sandwiches and scrumptious scones. Decadent desserts will also be served. The tables will be set with heirloom china featuring beautiful teapots. There will also be talented musicians - vocalists and instrumentalists - performing live for your listening pleasure.
The First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna is located at 99 Main Street, right next to the Roxbury Public Library. There is plenty of off-street parking and the church is handicapped accessible.
