ROXBURY, NJ - Hexagon Players continues to delight audiences of all ages this spring with their musical production of Bye Bye Birdie, their first production in partnership with Roxbury Arts Alliance at Investors Bank Theater at the Horseshoe Lake Complex in Succasuna.

Under the direction of Ray Gelpke, the musical direction of Nancy James and the choreography of Olivia Davis, Bye Bye Birdie is a fun, high energy production for the entire family to enjoy. With colorful costumes, dazzling lighting and a catchy pop score, this show is sure to be a highlight of the spring season.

Bye Bye Birdie is inspired by the fervor created when Elvis Presley received his draft card in 1957, and follows the story of rock 'n roller Conrad Birdie and his fans, who are devastated when their favorite singer announces that he has been drafted. Before leaving to join the army, Conrad pledges “One Last Kiss” to one deserving fan, Kim MacAfee, a publicity stunt concocted by his managers, Albert Peterson and his longtime girlfriend, Rose Alvarez.
