Craig Bickhardt Headlines at Riverside Rhythm & Rhyme Songwriter Series on March 18th

Veteran Nashville Singer-Songwriter to perform at the Investors Bank Theatre at RoxPAC in Succasunna, NJ

(Succasunna, NJ) – Craig Bickhardt, joined by his daughter Aislinn, will perform at the Riverside Rhythm and Rhyme (RR&R) songwriter series on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at The Investors Bank Theatre at RoxPAC, 72 Eyland Avenue, Succasunna, NJ from 4 - 6 pm. A Pennsylvania native and veteran Nashville singer/songwriter, Craig Bickhardt is a performer of the old school – you can hear echoes of such '60s folk revival artists as Tom Rush, Gordon Lightfoot and Eric Andersen in his work. His virtuosic guitar work, interweaving folk, blues, country and ragtime influences, perfectly compliment his storytelling and down to earth songs which focus on finding meaning in the small stuff people experience every day.

Lynn Hollyfield, originally from Staten Island, NY and now hailing out of Maryland, will open the show. Blend a powerful singer, crisp acoustic guitar player and a heartfelt observer of the world and you have singer-songwriter, Lynn Hollyfield. Her "indie-folk-pop style" (Leicasterbangs, UK) reflects an infusion of many influences including great jazz artists, such as Ella Fitzgerald, to contemporary influences of John Hiatt, Shawn Colvin and CSNY.

The concert is presented by the Skylands Songwriters Guild (SSG) in cooperation with the Roxbury Arts Alliance (RAA) and is an "XPN Welcomes" event. Tickets are $20 for non-members; $15 for SSG/RAA/Jersey Arts members; and free for under 18.

RR&R, an outreach performance series of SSG, is an eclectic coffee house/listening room style venue showcasing local and regional singer-songwriters right in the heart of Roxbury Township.

Skylands Songwriters Guild, based out of Ledgewood, NJ, is a recognized 501(c)(3) educational non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating the Singer-Songwriter community of Northwest New Jersey and surrounding region. Donations are tax deductible.

Dear Editor,

As of late, due to most disturbing acts of violence against children in our schools, there is much vigorous debate regarding gun control and protection of our children and grand-children.

Much of the debate is based on emotion rather than reasoned thought.
