ROXBURY, NJ - The artwork of a Roxbury High School freshman will appear at this year's state Youth Art Month (YAM) exhibit.
The student, Alexa Wanamaker, is being taught at the high school by Monica Roman. Her work was one of three pieces selected from Morris and Sussex counties, having been nominated by state YAM chairs.
The art will be displayed at Liberty State Park in Jersey City on March 21.
Wanamaker's creation made it to the state level and was on display in Trenton earlier in March. Following the Jersey City exhibit, the artwork will be shown, along with other Roxbury students' work, at County College of Morris starting on March 27.
