I’m Dan Kline, and if you live in Roxbury’s fantastic 4th Ward, I’m your Town Councilman. I’m asking for your support for re-election because I’ve spent the last 4 years tirelessly advocating for Roxbury residents. With your blessing, I would be honored to spend another 4 years working for you.

In my first term, we established the successful internship program, eliminated our general obligation debt, increased paving and sidewalk repair to over one million dollars annually, and we’re just getting started. We updated our Street Blade policy to better honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our country. We found ways to prevent flooding and protect residents’ properties. As a member of the Water and Sewer Committee, we invested $9,000,000 in sewer utility upgrades without raising your rates at all.

When I first ran for Town Council in 2015, I was in my first year of law school at Rutgers - Newark. After I got elected, I made you a promise - that my Council duties would always be my #1 priority, even over law school. I’m proud to say that I kept that promise and also earned my J.D., passed the Bar exam on the first try, and I am now a practicing attorney who focuses in municipal law. If re-elected, I will make and uphold the same promise: Roxbury first, always.

Although we have accomplished a lot by working together these last 4 years, there is still much more that needs to be done. We need to keep exploring ways to save money and fight tax increases, such as the Energy Aggregation Program and exploring shared services with our neighboring towns. Whenever I see a pothole in one of our streets, I submit a report to our Public Works department so it can get repaired sooner. I encourage you to join me in doing so as well, and the online form can be accessed by clicking here. Please let me know when you submit a report by emailing me at: KlineD@RoxburyNJ.us and I will follow up to make sure our roads get repaired. Please feel free to reach out to me about any Township-related issues as well. Whether you plan to vote for me or not, I’m always happy to work with you to make Roxbury the best place to live in New Jersey.

I hope I’ve earned your support on this upcoming Tuesday, November 5th. Polls are open from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. To find your polling place, click here. If you are not sure what ward you live in, you can find out here. Although the map is from a previous year, the information regarding wards is still accurate. Thank you.
