ROXBURY, NJ - Junior Girl Scout Troop 96603, based in Franklin Elementary School, recently donated 52 boxes of cookies to Roxbury Fire & EMS Co. 1 first-responders.

The cookies had been bought by the troop for a cookie booth sale that had to be canceled due to coronavirus restrictions.

“We reached out to the community and within 12 hours we sold out of the 52 cookies that we had left," said troop leaders Lori Romano, Jenn Shluker, Kristine VanIderstin and Lauren Pettorossi. "The community really stepped up to not only help our troop, but donate to our local first=responders.”
