ROXBURY, NJ - An April 1 storm is headed to Roxbury and will bring snowfall at up to two inches per hour this morning, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service said snow is likely to continue at that rate between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m., making for "difficult travel conditions" during the morning commute. "Expect poor visibilities below one-half-mile at times in heavy snow," said the service in a Winter Weather Advisory posted Sunday evening.

The blanket of white from the "quick-hitting snow event" could reach six inches deep in some sections but it will not stick around very long as "high temperatures Monday afternoon in the 40s will lead to rapid melting," said the weather service.
