Recycling Market Crash Hits Roxbury; Blue Diamond Bills Town

Former Roxbury Official Honored for Environment Efforts

ROXBURY, NJ – A former Roxbury town council member and mayor was honored this week by the state for her efforts to protect New Jersey’s environment.

The woman, Sandy Urgo, was one of 11 people named at the 19th Annual Governor’s Environmental Excellence Awards ceremony. The awards were presented by the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP).
