ROXBURY, NJ - The First Presbyterian Church of Succasunna will be hosting a "Souper Bowl of Caring" event on Feb. 6 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church parking lot next door to the Roxbury Public Library at 99 Main Street, Succasunna.

In 1990, a youth pastor decided to use the hype of the Super Bowl to encourage people to give just one dollar to a local food pantry/kitchen and the Souper Bowl of Caring was born. Now, people all over the United States - from youth groups to Scouts to school groups - participate in this great event as we seek to Tackle Hunger in our local communities.

The First Presbyterian Church is inviting people to drop off non-perishable food items that will be given to Roxbury Social Services. Volunteers will be in the church parking lot to take the items  out of your car in this drive-by food donation event.

Together, we can tackle hunger.
