ROXBURY, NJ - Riding high on four goals apiece by Emily Stanich and Melissa Murphy, the Roxbury High School girls lacrosse team won its second consecutive game Saturday.

The Gaels won the away game against Verona by a score of 8-4, as goaltender Mary Piccitto blocked seven goal attempts. Roxbury put five points on the board in the first half and allowed Verona only one.

Roxbury, 2-0 for the young season, will next take on Vorhees at home on Monday.
