SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Saturday, May 14, marked the start of the 2016 Scotch Plains Farmers' Market, held in the municipal parking lot on 430 Park Ave. 

"This is our 24th season," says Jeff Stein, who handles much of the promotion for the market. "It has become one of the best and most popular open-air markets in the area."

Organized by the Scotch Plains Business & Professional Association, the Scotch Plains Farmers Market runs from May 14 through November every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. For more information, visit www.scotchplainsfarmersmarket.com.
