2017 Fanwood Train Station Parking Permit Sale to Begin Sat, Oct. 15

FANWOOD, NJ -- The Fanwood Police Department has released its 2017 parking rates and permit information for Fanwood, Scotch Plains, and other towns' residents.

Fanwood residents can get their 2017 parking permits beginning Saturday, Oct. 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and weekdays, starting Oct. 17, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Permits will also be available on the evenings of Oct. 18, 20, 25, 27, and Nov. 1 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

Scotch Plains residents can get their 2017 parking permits beginning Saturday, Oct. 22, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and weekdays, starting Oct. 26 through Nov. 6, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Permits will also be available on the evenings of Oct. 25 and 27, and Nov. 1 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Residents of all other municipalities will be able to get their permits on Monday, Oct. 31, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Saturday sales will be held on Oct 15 and 22 only at the Fanwood Municipal Court Room/Violations Bureau located in the rear of Fanwood Borough Hall (75 North Martine Ave.). Doors will open at 7:00 a.m.

All other days and evenings, permit sales will be conducted at the Fanwood Police Department. The accepted methods of payment: Checks, Visa, and MasterCard. No cash or American Express. Permit seekers must bring:

  1. Completed permit application (Applications are available here via PDF download.)
  2. Valid New Jersey Driver's License
  3. New Jersey Vehicle Registration
