SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Over 100 people attended a culinary adventure in Israeli cuisine featuring a presentation and book signing by Chef Michael Solomonov, a tasting of delicious recipes from Zahav, his landmark Philadelphia restaurant, and a screening of the film "In Search of Israeli Cuisine" on Sunday, March 26 at the JCC of Central New Jersey

Solomonov is an Israeli chef and restaurateur. He won the James Beard Foundation award for Best Chef: Mid-Atlantic in 2011. Zahav: A World of Israeli Cuisine was nominated for a James Beard Foundation Book Award in the International cookbook category in 2015.
