WESTFIELD, NJ — Following a wildly popular beer garden at last year’s AddamsFest, a series of ticket sales for the beer garden, called Charlie’s Ale Garden, will begin next week, the town announced Monday night.

Select groups of people — including volunteers for the festival — will get a first chance at purchasing tickets to the beer garden to be held at the Westfield National Guard Armory Saturday, Oct. 26, officials said.

“This year, we are selling 30% more tickets,” the statement posted to the AddamsFest website said. “In response to feedback and in an effort to expand availability and offer tiered access, tickets will be sold as follows:

AddamsFest stakeholders and Westfield residents will enjoy early access to tickets. Beginning Thursday, Oct. 3, . all remaining tickets will be sold beginning at 8:00 p.m. on the AddamsFest website. Limit: four tickets per transaction.

The musical lineup is to include rock cover band The Counterfeiters, bluegrass/country band Little Secret and the rock/alternative band Shots N’ Earplugs, among others.

The local restaurant Addams Tavern is running the beer garden, and 30% of the proceeds will support the municipality, under the terms of the contract the Town Council awarded for the beer garden.

Advance tickets to the beer garden are $20 which include an entry wristband, six hours of live entertainment, and a commemorative beer or wine glass, the AddamsFest website said.
