SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- Scotch Plains police report yet another bear sighting in the area of Lake Park Terrace on Sunday.

New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish and Wildlife advises residents to bring in bird feeders at night and to keep trash cans and dumpsters securely locked to eliminate the food sources that seem to be attracting the bear.

Do not approach the bear and follow the safety tips. Call (908) 322-7100 to report sightings or 9-1-1 if there is an emergency.
