The Scotch Plains Public Library is pleased to announce that bestselling and Newbery Honor-winning author Adam Gidwitz will be stopping by on Friday, June 8th at 3:30 p.m. to discuss his newest book series, The Unicorn Rescue Society.

The first book, The Creature of the Pines, which came out this April, introduces us to Elliot Eisner on his first day at a new school. While on a field trip, the intrepid Uchenna Devereaux befriends nervous Elliot and the two join a secret group of adventurers – The Unicorn Rescue Society – which protects and defends the world’s mythical creatures.

Books will be available for purchase with signing to follow. No registration is required for this event; however, books will be sold and autographed on a first come, first serve basis.
