BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ -- Pitcher Nick Cocchia of Gov. Livingston improved to 3-0 on the season after tossing a two-hit shutout to lead GL to a 4-0 victory over Scotch Plains-Fanwood. Cocchia struck out 12 Raider batters.

Gov. Livingston, jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first inning, thanks in part to Raiders' fielding errors, and tacked on one more in the second. Peter Warren, Matt Fox and Jake Canavan had the Raiders' hits on the day. Danny Wilkinson pitched six innings and gave up four runs (only one earned).

The Raiders are scheduled to visit Westfield on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.
